La Ruche (French for ‘beehive’), destined to open its doors early 2008 in central Paris, is a collective workspace dedicated to social entrepreneurship and innovation. Open to anyone proposing an innovative solution to a social or ecological challenge, its vision is to conciliate economy and human development. Inspiring, high-tech, international and effervescent, La Ruche will be the workplace of the strategic actors of social entrepreneurship, as well as that of social entrepreneurs developing their project, either incubating it, starting it up or running it successfully. What will La Ruche look like? Ecological and innovative, composed of an open space, individual semi-enclosed spaces, numerous common spaces and spaces for meetings and events. Artists’ exhibitions around social innovation will be spread around the space. Welcome to La Ruche. |
